The focus of each chapter is intraoperative detail; the authors assume that the reader already has an understanding of specific indications to perform the procedure and of the underlying pathophysiology of the disease. The book provides a detailed explanation and description of the techniques involved in the successful performance of each operation. It may be used as a preoperative guide for the OR staff. This will improve the ability and efficiency of the OR staff to have the patient and room ready in a timely fashion.
